Architectural Transformation

BHEMN – Arch Experience Integrated led the architectural transformation of the institute, reimagining the space to blend historical significance with modern functionality. The renovation of a building from the 1920s, once home to a boiler imported from England, now serves as a collaborative workspace and a symbol of progress.

Inspiring Workspaces

The project draws inspiration from leading innovation hubs worldwide, embracing new models of work to inspire individuals and businesses alike. Attention to detail in architecture and design, creative use of materials, and seamless integration of old and new elements define the institute’s aesthetic.

Sustainable Practices

The renovation process involved demolitions, installations, and redesigns to create a cohesive and sustainable workspace. Glass partitions and metal structures seamlessly integrate various environments, while indoor gardens provide visual comfort and leisure. Repurposed materials from the original structure contribute to ecological sustainability and reduce waste.

Central Gathering Space

At the heart of the institute lies a grandstand designed to foster connections and host conventions and talks. Constructed with sturdy pillars and metal beams, this central space serves as a landmark within the building, offering comfort with pressure-treated deck wood benches and synthetic grass flooring.

Today, the Caldeira Institute serves as a vital hub for the region, housing major companies and startups alike.
