Nestled in Nonthaburi, Thailand, the Craft Estate stands as a triangular architectural marvel next to the across-river bridge. This innovative space serves as a river-view co-leisure area, housing a craft beer bar, coffee shop, and restaurant community, offering visitors a delightful blend of culinary experiences.

Architectural Design

Spanning approximately 1,270 square meters, the site boasts a triangular shape, strategically located between the across-river bridge and a public park. The unique trapezoid plan of the restaurant reflects the site’s geometry, with an inclined volume reaching heights of up to 17 meters, providing commanding views of the Chaophraya River. The 1,400 square meter functional space is intelligently divided into two main sections: the restaurant space and the office space.

Restaurant Space

The restaurant space, situated on the quirk of the building, features a four-story height and accommodates various amenities such as a coffee stand, craft beer bar, indoor dining area, semi-outdoor spaces, and a stepped rooftop for socializing. This multi-level layout offers guests a dynamic dining experience with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Office Space

On the opposite side of the building, the office space spans three stories and provides ample room for workstations, meeting rooms, and the managing director’s offices. This section of the building is designed to foster productivity and creativity in a modern and comfortable environment.

Exterior Design

The architect has meticulously selected exterior materials to complement the conceptual cutting part of the building. White translucent fiberglass and precast concrete are the primary materials used, offering a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. The fiberglass roof tiles diffuse natural sunlight, creating a soft, inviting ambiance within the interior spaces. Additionally, the exterior facade illuminates at night, creating a captivating visual effect that enhances the building’s presence within its surroundings.
